“分秒必争，利用好时间就没什么问题。”这是法国作家凡尔达的著作《八十天环游地球》中主人公菲利斯·福格的一句经典的话。在交通和交通工具相对落后的十九世纪六十年代，要八十天环游地球，是一件荒唐的事，但福格先生做到了，他靠的就是：分秒必争。

菲利斯·福格先生是英国的一位绅士，他用两万英镑和俱乐部的其他几个人打赌：他要在八十天内环游地球一周。说到做到，福格先生一路上克服了各种艰难险阻，他所拥有的高贵品质得到充分体现，终于在八十天内及时返回英国，赢得了声誉和两万英镑。

我敬佩书中的福格先生，他的很多品质值得我们学习：

一.遇事冷静，做事不慌。这是他的最大特点，一个做事规矩的绅士，遇到什么事都像早已预料到了一样，沉着冷静，从容应付。

二.勇敢无畏，富有正义感。无论在什么时候，多么危险，他都会保护艾欧达夫人和万事通的安全。

三.心地善良，富有同情心。尽管时间那么紧，但他还是争分夺秒，救了一个要被烧死的女人。

四.充满必胜的信心，他坚定不移。他只有充满信心和勇气才能打这个赌，而且在艰难的旅行中他并没有半途而废。

读完这本书后，我感到做什么事都要抓紧时间，如果福格先生不抓紧时间，他的两万英镑就不会有了。在生活中，我们写作业，既要写练习题，又要复习和预习，那么时间从何而来？只有认真对待，抓紧时间，学习才会有效率。
